Los Pasitos provides Early Intervention services to children ages birth to three years, that are at risk for, or that have a developmental delay or disability, get the support they need to reach their full potential. Los Pasitos partners with families to nurture and advocate for their child’s development through coaching and modeling in their natural environment so that parents and caregivers can shine while helping their child reach their full potential. Los Pasitos Family Service Coordinators help guide families through the early intervention process. Our Family Service Coordinators assist families with finding and obtaining needed resources, assist families in transitioning their child to preschool, and serve as a family’s single point of contact within the early intervention system.

 

Los Pasitos Physical Therapists help guide families to understand their child’s development in the area of gross motor skills. They will assist families through the very important transition of a child being stationary to moving freely.

Los Pasitos Occupational Therapists help guide families to understand their child’s development in the area of fine motor skills, sensory motor processing, self-regulation, and positioning. Los Pasitos Developmental Specialist helps guide families to understand their child’s development in all areas.  With guidance and support from our licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, and Family Counselor, our Developmental Specialist will look at the child’s overall development and assist the family in helping the child meet the appropriate milestones based on the age of the child to include Motor, Communication, social/emotional, cognitive, and self-help skills.

Los Pasitos play group is co-facilitated by Los Pasitos Early Intervention therapists. This group includes music, movement, sensory activities, craft activates, free play, books, and snacks. It also provides opportunities for turn-taking, social interaction, physical and fine motor development, and increasing a child’s vocabulary and speech.
